Naruto Shippu-den 2: Bonds (??? NARUTO-???- ??? ?, Gekijo-ban Naruto Shippu-den: Kizuna?)[1] is the fifth overall Naruto film and second Naruto: Shippu-den film, based on the popular anime and manga series, which was released on August 2, 2008. The DVD was released on April 22, 2009. The movie was announced in Weekly Sho-nen Jump along with the DVD release date for the first movie. Additionally, the teaser trailer for the second movie was aired with Naruto: Shippu-den episode(s) 40-41 and again with episode 66-67. In episodes 70-73 opening sequence was replaced with footage from movie. The theme song for the movie is "No Rain No Rainbow" by Home Made Kazoku. The film has gone on to be highest grossing of all Naruto movies bringing in $95,341,986 dollars in Japan. The film was advertised under the tagline of "Another Meeting of Fate" (?????, Shukumei no Saikai?).
